Why the English Language Institute Offers Additional Help to Students

In keeping with the ELI mission of “Providing English Language learners with skills for academic and career success,” the focus of the Learning Center is to provide every student with an alternative means of improving academic skills. We recognize that students will at times have difficulty understanding and completing individual academic assignments. The Learning Center is here to help students who do not understand the assignment or who need extra information about the assignment.
