Springfield is the third largest city in the state of Missouri and is located in Greene County in the southwest corner of Missouri. It lies within the Ozarks region of the United States and is known for beautiful landscapes, outdoor recreation, and always-changing weather. Visitors to Springfield can expect to experience all four seasons.

Springfield is known for its big-city attractions and small-town charm. Also known as the “Queen City” of the Ozarks, Springfield acts as a central shopping and entertainment hub for the smaller surrounding communities. Whether you prefer cheering on the home team at a minor league baseball game, taking in a show at Missouri State University’s Tent Theatre, or exploring the great outdoors, it’s never hard to find something to do in Springfield.

For those who wish to visit larger cities, Springfield is a three hour drive away from Kansas City and three and a half hour drive from St. Louis. The Springfield-Branson National Airport is also located within the city and offers flights to destinations across the country.

Springfield, Missouri has been recognized as one of the best places in the United States to go to school, find a career, raise a family, and retire. The cost of living is relatively low compared to other cities of its size.
