Faculty Exchange
The faculty members at Missouri State University are committed to the development of educated persons through scholarly research and teaching. The University realizes that global exposure is essential for the faculty in order to pass on the positive aspects of such exposure to the students. International Business Programs facilitates and promotes international exchanges, not only for students but also for faculty. Students gain direct benefits as faculty members bring back experience and information to share within their classrooms.
Faculty is selected to participate in various exchanges through an open application process. Exchange programs give faculty the opportunity to visit educational institutions and numerous industries in various countries. New opportunities are being developed for faculty to take part in teaching exchanges.
Criteria
- Faculty will be expected to lecture/teach for a period of 1, 2, or 3 weeks at one or more of the partner institutions
- The host institution usually will provide free housing.
- Faculty member and/or home institution is responsible for all other expenses.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not participated in such programs in the past.
