We are glad to hear that you are interested in deferring your application or admission to Missouri State University for the fall 2009 semester.  In order to complete your deferral, please provide the following documentation:

•  Deferment Request Form completed and sent to our office
• Updated bank statement that shows at least $23,193 (graduate) and $19,857 (undergraduate)
• Statement of Financial Support Form
• from your current institution to MSU if you will study at another U.S. institution prior to attending Missouri State
• Transcripts from any other schools you have attended since your application

If you have already received I-20 from Missouri State University, you need to take the following actions as well.

• Return I-20 to our office
• Deferral fee of $25 (check or money order) sent to our office (Not required of China Branch Campus students.)

Please include your family name, given name, and your Missouri State University student identification M number (M_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _) with all correspondence sent to our office.
