Find a Study Away Program that Works for You!
Study Away Programs offers many exciting exchange programs in over 50 countries. These opportunities develop from partnerships between Missouri State University and other universities worldwide. Students who are accepted into the exchange program(s) pay in-state Missouri State University tuition for their classes, can use financial aid/scholarships, and will transfer approved credit back to Missouri State University. The exchange programs are popular because they are "budget-friendly," but applications can be more competitive because space might be limited (but not always). Short-Term Faculty Led Programs are Missouri State University's most popular study abroad options. Students enroll in a Missouri State University course and go with a faculty director anywhere from one to six weeks. These short-term options are appealing because they do not interfere with fall and spring semester classes, they are budget-friendly, and shorter in length. Short-term faculty led programs are great options for students on a budget, who have other commitments during the semester, or are seeking specific MSU courses. Affiliate programs are facilitated by providers that partner with Missouri State University. They offer hundreds of unique options specific to a region, area of interest, or discipline. Affiliate programs also provide additional services including on site staff support, airport reception, visa assistance, organized excursions, and more! Interested in an internship or volunteer opportunity? They can also offer great extra-curricular experiences in addition to taking courses! Missouri State students can transfer credit and use their scholarships and financial aid to fund their program.
