Required insurance

As an Exchange Visitor you are required by law to obtain and maintain medical insurance that covers you and your dependents for a minimum of $100,000 per accident or illness with a maximum deductible of $500 per accident or illness during the period of time you are participating in the Missouri State’s exchange visitor program. In addition, you are also required to purchase insurance for medical evacuation at a minimum of $50,000 and repatriation at a minimum of $25,000. The Missouri State University insurance plan for full time does not provide the required medical evacuation and repatriation insurance; therefore, you will need to purchase this coverage separately.
