20 Out of 30 Credit Exception

Education Abroad students are exceptions to the Missouri State University residency requirements that 20 out of the final 30 hours of coursework must be completed on the Springfield campus.

Documentation of the exception may be found on the degree audit, under "20 out of the last 30 Hours General Baccalaureate Residency Requirement."

"Students who are eligible for an exception to the 20 out of the last 30 hours residency requirement (Education Abroad students, West Plains completion program students, Medical Technology/Radiography students) should contact the Office of the Registrar during their final semester of coursework to have this requirement waived on their degree audit."

Policy information is available on the General Baccalaureate Degree Policies and Requirements in the Missouri State Undergraduate Catalog under "Residence Requirements."
