After being offered a place in one of our courses, candidates must pay a $250 deposit to reserve their place. A place will not be secure until this deposit has been made.
Candidates will receive a Pre Course Task booklet once the deposit is received. They are expected to complete the Pre Course Task booklet before the beginning of the course.
Acceptance into MSU’s CELTA program remains valid for one year. Although the deposit of $250 is nonrefundable, it can be transferred to a later course until 21 days before your course start date. Within 21 days it becomes nonrefundable and nontransferable. Students are permitted to transfer their deposit to a later course only once.
The remainder of the course fee ($2200) must be paid at least 21 days before the course begins (under no circumstances will anyone be allowed to start a course unless full fees have been received).
Applicants are reminded by email during the week preceding the 21 day limit. Deposits become nontransferable if tuition is not paid within the 21 day limit we are not notified of a postponement.
The course fee is nonrefundable. Refunds of the course fee will only be considered under catastrophic circumstances.
Missouri State reserves the right to cancel a course for which numbers of participants do not meet the minimum requirement. In this case, we will refund full fees and deposits.
