Ranked faculty can apply to participate in the academic year exchange with Qingdao University in the Shangdong Province of the People’s Republic of China. The person chosen to go from Missouri State to China will teach conversational English and might be asked to teach a course in his or her own discipline. Missouri State will pay the faculty member’s salary and airfare. Qingdao University will provide a small stipend for food and a one-bedroom apartment on campus.
