Developing an Education Abroad Program

Proposal submission deadlines

The proposal submission process will change slightly for 2025-2026 programs. There is no longer a priority deadline for Education Abroad Fair participation and all proposals must be submitted by July 31st, 2025. Education Abroad Fair participation will be first come, first serve. Submit your proposals to the Education Abroad Coordinator Morgan Marler (MorganMarler@MissouriState.edu) or the Director of International Business Programs, Mary Tomerlin (MaryPTomerlin@MissouriState.edu) for College of Business programs.

Unlike previous years, please submit your proposal to the appropriate Education Abroad or IBP staff member without your Department Head and Dean approval. Education Abroad will use a Dynamic Form process to secure the proper approvals from your Department Head and Dean. 

The proposal submission deadlines are:

• October to December 2025 or January 2026 – March 28, 2025

• March, May, June, July, and August 2026 – July 31, 2025
