International Graduate Student Application Checklist

Missouri State University welcomes graduate students from around the world. Follow the steps below to submit your application for admission.
 

1. Apply online.
   Complete the online application for admission through the GradCAS application portal.
    
2. Submit required documentation.
   Submit the following documents through the GradCAS application portal. 
   • Academic transcripts
     The minimum GPA requirement is 2.75/4.0. It varies by program.
     
     
   • Proof of English Proficiency
     Have your IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores sent to Missouri State University.
     • We accept the following test scores: TOEFL-iBT 79, IELTS 6.0, PTE 53, Duolingo 110 or completion of level 5 at the English Language Institute.

   • All the other documents required by the program.
3. Once received an acadmic decision, please follow the instructions sent to you to submit the documents below:
   1. A copy of your passport ID page.
   2. Statement of Financial Support (download and save the PDF to complete the form)
   3. Upload a copy of your funding support documenting available funds.
   4. An I-20 request form
