Inge M. Urbancic
Ms. Urbancic is an international educator, consultant, and entrepreneur with a passion for creating connections among diverse cultures through education and travel. She’s earned an MA in TESOL from Notre Dame University of Maryland, a BA in International Business and Eastern Philosophy from Loyola University of Maryland and is currently a Doctoral student at George Mason University specializing in International Education and Educational Leadership. Through her work, she creates opportunities to bridge cultural boundaries for students, teachers, and families between the US, Pakistan, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and SE Asia. As the Founder of the Pakistani-American Teachers of English Network (PATEN) and Sea to See Travel, she connects diverse cultures around the world through intercultural competence, direct engagement, authentic travel, and cultural experiences. She actively supports educational initiative programs in the US and Pakistan including the TESOL, Society for International Education, PakTESOL, and the MicroAccess Youth Program among others. She is currently researching perceptions of intercultural competence by Pakistani Teachers in the Pakistani public secondary education system
