The I Succeed Center (ISC) offers the following free services for international students
with the purpose of identifying specific academic needs of international students
and provides the necessary support to have a successful academic experience at MSU
and beyond.
English language support
Strategies for cultural adjustment
Help understanding U.S. academic culture
Help preparing for internship and employment opportunities
Advice on academic publications, conference presentations, and networking
Guidance on continuing education (ex. Masters, Ph.D. application process)
ISC also offers workshops/presentations on topics and/or skills that many international students have questions/concerns

For students who will be graduating soon, International Services will be offering
workshops about Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT).
In-person workshops do not require a reservation. You are welcome to show up to any
