Before You Travel to the English Language Institute

• Review your Certificate of Eligibility (Form 1-20 or DS-2019)
• Pay SEVIS fee
• Apply for a student visa at the US embassy or consulate
• Set up access to your student account
• Make travel arrangements
• Fill out and bring the Medical History form with you
• Make housing arrangements
• Review the ELI Orientation Schedule
• To request airport pickup on your arrival in Springfield, complete this form

It is the policy of the English Language Institute (ELI) that any student in initial status who wishes to transfer to another institution is required to report to the ELI in person with a copy of the transfer form and admission letter from the new institution. A student who does not comply with this policy is subject to termination of the student’s SEVIS record prior to the record being transferred.
