Transfer

In order to transfer to the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program, you will need to: 

1. Please schedule a Virtual Meeting before applying for a transfer to our EAP program. You can also schedule an in-person meeting in our offices by emailing: ELI@missouristate.edu.*
2. Fill out an application for the English for Academic Purposes program and respond “Yes” to the transfer questions. Make sure to list the name and address of the school you will be transferring from.
3. Pay the $150 Non-Refundable Application Fee.
4. Upload the documents below to your application:
   1. A copy of your passport information page.
   2. A copy of your high school or undergraduate diploma in English.
   3. Statement of Financial Support. (this document may be downloaded and completed by right clicking and choosing "save as")
   4. An official statement from your bank in English which specifies the amount of money available for one to three terms of language training.
   5. If you are applying for conditional admission to Missouri State University, a copy of your current transcript (grades) translated in English. 
   6. The U.S. Transfer Recommendation Form (Transfer to Missouri State). Transfer student will fill out the top section of the form. Please have the DSO at your current school fill out the bottom portion of the form.
