Absctract - Virtual cultural exchanges are important classroom experiences for students. Exchanges provide students an opportunity learn about a different country and its people while engaging in a classroom project. This presentation will describe a virtual cultural exchange that took place in the Spring of 2022 between MSU students and students from Zayed University in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). MSU students will share their experiences of participating in a virtual cultural exchange and how this project impacted their understanding of intercultural communication and led to a greater degree of cultural competence
