Studying abroad allows you the opportunity to experience a new culture, see remarkable landmarks, make memories to last a lifetime, and show a sense of pride for Missouri State University. 

If you are a Missouri State student who studied abroad on a program during Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Summer 2024, or you are currently abroad this Fall 2024, you are eligible to submit an entry for the photo contest! This is a great opportunity to show our campus what our #GlobalBears are doing abroad! 

Submit your Entry 

Submit your photos by Friday, October 4th at 8:00am CST. Photos submitted after the deadline will NOT be accepted. 

• Use our form linked below to submit. You must sign in to your MSU Office 365 to access the form.

Rules 

• You must be in the photo. 
• The photograph must be from one of the following semesters: Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Summer 2024, or Fall 2024.  
• You must have taken the photo during an approved Education Abroad Program, including countries you may have traveled to during your time abroad. 
• Photos with inappropriate content will NOT be accepted. This includes, but is not limited to, alcohol, swimsuits, and promotion of other universities. 
• Photo content must be “true to life”, no Photoshopped objects/people or creating a collage. 
• You must be a current student at Missouri State at the time of winning. 
• For the “caption”, tell us where you took the photo and any other information you can provide for context. Take us on your journey! 
• You can submit as many photos as you want. Our office will choose finalist photos to share on Instagram and open them up to public voting.  
• The highest quality photos will be submitted electronically in high-quality digital format JPEGs.

Votes and Winners 

Voting begins on Monday October 7th, 2024 at 8:00am. Cast your vote on Instagram.

We will announce winners on October 14th, 2024 at 8:00am on Instagram and contact you through DM or email.
