National association engagement
In order to ensure the highest quality of service, Missouri State’s Office of Education Abroad supports national best practices and actively engages in The Forum on Education Abroad, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and Generation Study Abroad.
Missouri State participated in The Forum on Education Abroad’s Quality Improvement Program (QUIP) and was recognized in January 2019 for meeting the field’s Standards of Good Practice.

Missouri affiliations
Missouri State’s Office of Education Abroad collaborates on state-wide initiatives through its membership in the Missouri Consortium for International Programs and Studies, also known as MOCON. MOCON's signature program is the Missouri London Program operated through the University of Roehampton London. Missouri State is also an active member of Study Missouri.
