MSU in Florence, Italy

Program purpose: Studies of the art and culture of Italy, through courses in art appreciation, travel writing, photography, art history, and literature. The program is designed to immerse students in the history and contemporary culture of Florence, with excursions to Venice, Pisa, Ravenna, and possibilities for other excursions. General Education courses and advanced courses are offered through MSU’s Art & Design and English departments. Seven courses are offered from which students will complete 6 credit hours or two courses. Students will be housed in apartments in Florence and use the academic and studio facilities of Santa Reparata International School of Art. Applications received by December 11 will receive a discounted rate.
Program cost per student: $3,450 (if enrolled by December 11) or $3,700 (if enrolling after December 11)
