Student Advisor

Global Ambassadors have the opportunity to continue building their legacy of internationalization and cultural competency at Missouri State through the Student Advisor position. Student Advisors are responsible for student recruitment, advisement, pre-departure orientation, and assisting with Education Abroad events. Additionally, they assist with training first year Global Ambassadors. Based on their experience and additional responsibilities, Student Advisors are paid at a higher rate than Global Ambassadors.

This program will offer you an opportunity to share your study abroad experience and perform a role that is fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Eligibility

At the time of application, you must:

• Have successfully completed at least one year of work as a Global Ambassador.
• Maintain full-time degree-seeking status at the Missouri State Springfield campus.
• Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Note: As a Student Advisor, you will be expected to maintain your full-time, degree-seeking student status and minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout the duration of your service.
