Program purpose: Students will participate in the daily lives and activities of Ghanaian families, from a small village to the capital city. They will learn about local customs, history and language from Ghanaian instructors, as well as characteristics of Ghanaian (especially Ashanti) culture, including social organization and belief systems.

Program cost to student: $1,855

What is included? Ground Transportation in Ghana, accommodations, meals at accommodations, International Student Identity card

What is not included? MSU tuition for 3 credit hours, airfare, passport costs, meals not provided at accommodations (in Kumasi), personal expenses and souvenirs, and a Ghanaian Visa
